Air conditioning is actually a strange concept when you think about it. Some of the most popular air conditioners create a cold feeling by pulling the heat out of hot air as opposed to simply producing cold air. The results are still the same: refreshing cool air. This method of air condition actually uses less electricity than other methods, so making it solar powered makes it the perfect eco-friendly system.
The way that heat ends up producing cold air is because these air conditioners use hot water as their means of energy. This energy is then transferred into the cold air that comes out of the system. Typically the type of heat that an AC uses comes from gas boilers or the leftover heat from generators, but with the advances in solar technology the heat can now come directly from the sun. This means that the electricity used to power the heating source before no longer becomes necessary at all.
Trapping the heat from the sun is a simple process with the right tools. Solar panels absorb the heat from the sun in the form of thermal energy. That thermal energy is then delivered into the heart of the air conditioner where a ‘chiller’ is set up to cool off the air. There are different kinds of solar cooling systems and while they all basically work the same way they each have unique attributes that may make them more appropriate in different settings.
So what does this new technology mean for the environment? For one thing, it means that there will be less dangerous chemicals released into the air. All solar powered air conditioners and cooling systems run on chilling solutions that are made with limited amounts of hazardous chemicals such as Freon and other toxic materials. It also means less gases and pollutants getting into the air because energy is being conserved. The less energy that is used overall, the less energy power plants need to produce. On top of that, most of these cooling systems are very careful to create these systems with durable materials that won’t corrode over time.
When it comes to how the consumer is affected, being able to use a solar air cooling system means saving money. The initial installation costs can be over a thousand dollars, but over the years the energy it saves will return the investment and then be nothing but extra money. This is especially true for the solar cooling systems that can also be used for heating in the winter.
Using solar power to run an air conditioner was a great idea because the time when people are using their ACs is the time when the sun produces the most heat. These new systems kill two birds with one stone by cooling off homes and doing so in a much more natural way than conventional air conditioning systems. It’s another step towards creating zero energy homes and self-sustaining energy systems. This is a great example of how people can produce things that save the environment when they really try.

E-mail newsletter is an email marketing technique that you can use to market your products and services using email messaging. There is a belief that e-mail newsletter must be created and sent by professionals who dedicate their time and skills in delivering e-mail newsletters and might do it better than you. Some people are afraid of sending e-mail newsletter because of the tricky anti-spam laws existing in the United States. If you do so, you miss the opportunity of earning some 50% extra cash delivering e-mail newsletters.
There is nothing complex in advertising with e-mail newsletter. If you understand some simple basics, you will avoid all mistakes made by others on the way to success. Master it, and do it yourself paying only pennies in expenses using simple rules of thumb and an inexpensive email newsletter software. Let others to pay a big buck for a simple job everyone can do. The people who are in this business like your money, and they will do everything to make you believe it is difficult.
Let us start from the basics. To understand what you should do and what you must avoid, put yourself into customer’s shoes. Imagine yourself sitting home after a tough day totally exhausted. The only thing you want to do is to rest. Probably, you want to read a book or dedicate yourself to your hobby. When you just begin to have fun, your phone starts to ring every 10 minutes, and a brisk voice tries to sell you something you do not really need. You go to your computer to view your photos or chat with friends and you notice your mailbox is full of colourful junk. Be sure that all junk messages will be deleted even without reading. The telemarketers will be advised to go some place far away no-one returns from. Do not do this mistake. Treat your customers the same way you would treat yourself. This is the most important rule of thumb.
Avoid sending email newsletters excessively often and understand your customer interests. If you sell magazines, pay attention to the types of magazines your customer buys. Send information only about related magazines in your e-mail newsletter. Somebody who reads computer magazines might not be interested in fashion magazines. Try to study how many magazines can an average person read a month. Do not try to sell more magazines a month than an average person can read. 2 – 3 e-mail newsletters a month would be more than enough.
Always use a short and informative content for your e-mail newsletter. If you send HTML newsletters with graphics and font colours or styles, use it in moderation. Human brain is trained to delete all e-mail newsletters that are either too long or too colourful without reading. Your e-mail newsletter must contain only the key information and be strait-to-the-point starting from the first word (no introductions and conclusions whatsoever). If you use images in your e-mail newsletter, limit yourself to only a few images displaying the product key features only.
Please make sure you ask permission from each of your customers to subscribe them on your e-mail newsletter. Most appropriate place would be during or after his first purchase or any other business contact. You also have to have an easy way to unsubscribe from your e-mail list and it’s a good manner to put a reminder (with instructions) about it at the end of each message you send. Stop sending to those people who remove themselves from your e-mail newsletter. It is also a good practice to remove all those invalid and bounced back emails from your list.
Now let us talk about an email newsletter software. Normally, you use a content management software (CMS) with a database on your website and a shopping cart linked to your e-commerce provider. You can get a targeted e-mail list either from your website database or from your e-commerce provider. Getting e-mail list from your website database is preferable because you can narrow your quires and get e-mail lists of customers associated with purchased products. You should get your data in form of plain text files either tab-delimited or CSV that can be imported in any email newsletter software.
Create a new project in your email newsletter software and import recipients that should receive your e-mail newsletter. You want to import your recipients along with all personal information including the products they ordered and dates of purchase because you will use it to personalize your e-mail newsletters.
In your email newsletter template, reference as much customer information as you have and as logically appropriate. Always start by a personal salutation like Hello, FIRSTNAME!”. This lets you greet every customer by his or her name, which is always a good starter. If they bought something from you in the past, thank them for it, do not forget to mention it in your message. That is where your PRODUCT_PURCHASED and PURCHASE_DATE become very handy. Then go to your point. You may describe a related product, that will make a very good fit with this product.
Now you are ready to send your e-mail newsletter. You must use the lowest possible sending speed that lets you deliver your e-mail newsletter within an acceptable time interval but not faster than it is necessary. The slower you send the better delivery rate you get. Super fast delivery may cause your IP address to be blocked by email servers for 24 hours which will cause your e-mail newsletter to be rejected.
To send your messages, you can use an email account that comes from your Internet provider. Please check thoroughly if they have any limits on the number of messages you can send per hour and per day. Many will have imposed limits. Depending on the number of messages you need to send, you can consider using multiple free accounts from Gmail. If you have huge amounts, consider installing and using your own SMTP server, because no other option will be viable enough.
You can also use any paid SMTP email account where you pay for the number of e-mail newsletters you send. They usually sell packages with monthly limits. For example, you can order a package for $30 a month that will allow you to send 5000 e-mail newsletters a month or a package for $50 allowing you to send 10000 e-mail newsletters a month. The more you pay monthly the greater the number of allowed e-mail newsletters will be.

Business ethics is becoming increasingly prominent on our culture as the world is becoming more and more connected which in turn makes businesses more and more transparent. Conducting business in an ethical behavior used to be for only the do-gooders (an unfortunately small percentage) of the business world but today, if you and your business want to stick around, practicing business ethics will keep you in the black for the long run.
The reign of the scam is coming to a close.
It has traditionally been fairly easy to start a simple scam to con people out of their hard earned money. These scams would crop up everywhere and would be wildly successful at the expense of its ‘customers’. However these days they’re much easier to spot because you can very easily hop on the computer and check out what people are saying about them. This hasn’t always been the case.
Because of the ease of finding good information about companies and individuals on the Internet and many others sources it is just good business sense to be straight-forward, honest and transparent. These qualities alone will often be enough to close the sale and ramp up your business considerably.
Although you can make some money scamming people, inevitably you will be discovered. With a scam there’s only so much you can accomplish then it ends. If you were to go with legitimacy from the beginning your success would only beget success. If people were suspicious you would have no fear of what they discovered and their findings, rather than destroying you, would strengthen you.
Just look at Bernard Madoff. Here was a sharp man with the world at his fingertips. Had he just done business ethically he could still have a VERY comfortable living and never have to worry about the FBI showing up at his door to toss him in prison. He scammed hundreds of thousands of people using a Ponzi scheme like model that he himself said was, “One big lie.” For his offenses he is now serving a term of 150 years. Essentially he has been sentenced for life.
Another example of bad business ethics is Enron. Enron was named as Americas Most Innovative Company six years in row but as we all found out later, their claimed growth and success was merely tricky, deceiving accounting. We all know the outcome of such fraudulent behavior. Enron has bust and are now trying to sell off all its remaining assets.
To avoid scandals like Madoff’s and Enron’s just be honest and straightforward. This is the most certain way to long-term success and financial stability.

It is no secret”the advertising industry has been shifting for quite some time. Gone are the days when consumers rely on the local newspaper, White and Yellow Pages, or even radio as reliable sources to locate business services and products. Even television commercials have become less effective due to the fact that viewers can easily fast-forward through commercials using DVR systems. The Internet has created the Now Generation”a group of people who expect your services to come to them, at the point of need.
So where is this point of need, you might ask. The point of need is wherever that particular person may be. Thanks to the cellular phone and laptop computers, the Now Generation has been conditioned to expect to be able to easily access pertinent information about whatever they want, whenever they want.
The more convenient the source of your advertisement is to access for the consumer, the more likely they are to view it. Why purchase a newspaper when every major news source has an extensive Web site with streaming video with to-the-minute updates? Why open up a phone book when the same information can easily be accessed within seconds on a mobile or wireless device? The fact is print advertising is becoming less effective each year, as 54 percent of people solely search the Internet for a desired product or service rather than searching through a phone book, and 63 percent of people search online before making a purchase in a store.
In addition to meeting your customers at the point of need, establishing a strong online presence also has been proven in many studies to increase consumers perception of a company’s level of professionalism.
Now the question is, How is your business targeting the Now Generation? Hopefully your company is well versed in the Internet and has developed a Web site and an online marketing campaign that actively drives traffic to your Web site. Now is the time for you to learn how you can fully utilize the Internet to advertise and market your business to the masses.
Some may advise companies hoping to increase Web presence to utilize pay per click services, in which Web hosts display advertisements when a keyword query matches an advertiser’s keyword list. These sponsored links are generally placed at the top or side of a Web page, or within the page if the Web host so chooses.
While Pay per click (PPC) advertising is one of the most popular, fastest growing ways for businesses to advertise online, it is not the most effective, or cost-effective way to establish your companies Web presence, generate traffic to your Web site, or increase sales.
When sponsoring an ad, you, the advertiser pays per click every time a potential customer clicks on your link. Whether they choose to purchase any of your goods or services, you still have to pay for the advertising. Most pay-per-click companies have the following flaws:
Expensive”As stated earlier, advertisers must pay a predetermined amount for every visitor who clicks on your pay per click ad, even if those visitors do not actually purchase anything. Unproven science”Advertisers use certain keywords to attract customers to their ads and increase sales. The catch is, it is proven that certain key words perform, or attract users better than others. The question to ask yourself as a business owner is, Are these service providers going to supply these top-performing key words for me? Not a chance! Although some services do provide users with a back office of sorts, where the results of multiple ads can be tracked, it will take several weeks to determine how an ad, or specific keywords are effective”and in the mean time, you are losing money! Additionally, manner of these service providers offer tutorials on how to master the are of using pay per click advertising. These services are not cheap”typically ranging in cost from $450 to $1,000, but are not proven to increased the advertisers desired results. No Local Advertising Capabilities”Many businesses viewed the surge of the Internet as an opportunity to grow their business by marketing products and services to a national, and sometimes international, audience. In all actuality, the majority of small- to mid-sized business owners cater to a specific locality, region, or demographic area. Yes, clicks of any type can be viewed as exposure for your company Web site”but the problem is, pay per click does not have a way to geo-target the audience that your advertisement reaches”yet you must pay for every time a disinterested non-geo-targeted Internet searcher accidentally lands on your site, then quickly closes it because you are too far away to provide the desired service. These disadvantages have caused many to search for an alternative method for LOCAL online advertising and Web site traffic generation. Currently, there is only one proven method to strategically generate the traffic you want to your Web site. Find out how.

Many cigar enthusiast do a lot of talking about how much they enjoy a good Cuban cigar. The fact of the matter is, all Cuban cigars don’t taste alike. Although most of the tobacco that comes from the area is very high quality and the rolling is superior, you may have differences between the various brands that can make them very pleasant or unpleasant, depending on your own particular taste. That is why it is necessary to go over a little bit of information on Cuban cigars for beginners, especially if you are just getting started with cigar smoking overall.
It is very rare for you to actually come across any Cuban cigars that are mild. As a matter of fact, most of the best-known Cuban cigars are actually quite strong and are well known for their specific flavor. There are other ways to rank a Cuban cigar other than its flavor, however, one of these is by the way that it is put together. Cuban cigars are notorious for being hand rolled tightly and for smoking very well.
Cuban cigars also come in various styles. Particularly the shapes and sizes such as Robusto, Torpedo etc. Some are short, some are long and the best way to find your size is to try them out. Cuban cigars are one of those things that you can read about it as much as you want, but to truly experience it, you have to try it yourself. Some brands I can suggest to get you going are Fonseca, Montecristo and Bolivar. Good way to get into the Cuban cigar game is to try the ones above. These are some amazing smokes and I highly recommend them before you try the Cohiba, also known as the king of Cuban cigars.
I truly appreciate the variety in Cuban cigar brands. Since they are all controlled by Habanos SE (Cuban government), the quality on all of these cigars is simply phenomenal. The best way to enjoy Cuban cigars is with your friends and family or if you just want to take it easy (Like i usually do), pop open a bottle of wine and smoke one with it. It is the ultimate experience. Just you and the cigar with some nice wine on the side is one of the best things that I’ve discovered for my self.
One thing that you’re going to need to be careful of, however, is imitation Cuban cigars. This is especially the case in the United States where Cuban cigars are illegal to sell or to smoke. In fact, many people that live in the United States never actually get to enjoy a true Cuban cigar unless they are on a cruise ship or in another special situation.
