Staff members working in all kinds of organizations and companies benefit largely from LMS training in conflict management.
Ultimately, the knowledge and skills it takes to manage workplace conflict are a worthwhile and invaluable investment for any organization. Workplace conflict produces many negative consequences, including low productivity, increased absenteeism, the rising of factions between staff members, resignations, and the inability for staff to be creative.
After all, conflict management training is meant to protect a company’s most valuable asset: content and productive employees. A strong training course can provide staff members and supervisors with the tools required to deal with workplace conflicts as they develop. LMS courses should focus on the different strategies and tools employees and managers can use to communicate and arrive at positive solutions to workplace conflict.
In a conflict management course, learners come to understand that self-awareness is key. Students discover the myriad ways to communicate effectively, how to be firm and practice assertive rather than aggressive or passive aggressive behavior, and how to negotiate. Students learn to improve their communication skills and recognize the different types of workplace conflict, as well as various methods of dealing with workplace conflict. After all, resolving conflict is something that does not come naturally—it must be taught.
Conflicts often necessitate a third party to mediate between factions. Nevertheless, in spite of the most encouraging manager and the most well-developed and clearest assignment of tasks, conflict is an inevitable aspect of working together. After all, conflict is a natural and necessary part of life.
One key to effective conflict management is the cultivation of lively controversy between employees, rather than attempting to gloss over the conflict. The best method is to openly focus on arriving at a positive solution, and allow everyone to voice their perspectives. Conflict arouses interest and curiosity, and if resolved well, is enormously productive and worthwhile.
The major long term benefit of LMS training in conflict management is that employees develop a better attitude towards conflict itself; it becomes a natural process that must be worked out, rather than an ugly situation to attempt to ignore or brush aside.

When it comes to enlisting a shipping service to transport cargo, there are many people involved the task of making sure that the cargo reaches its destination on-time and intact. Air Freight Agents are one particular group of people who play a major role in transporting freight. Air freight agents are responsible for the import and export of cargo by means of an airplane. They act on behalf of the airlines that pay them a fee for their service. Some air freight agents specialize within certain countries and others specialize in shipping items all over the world.
Duties of Air Freight Agent can include:
Directing inbound and outbound air freight shipments to their prearranged destinations Assembling cargo according to their destination that includes arranging space for the shipment. Receiving bookings from customers for shipments and arranging for pickup of the freight and delivery to the cargo airplane Weighing the cargo and calculating the shipment costs. They put freight bills in order and accept shipping payments from the customers. Assembling appropriate documents and prepares and processes the documents and includes the information with the shipments Notifying shippers of departure delays Unloading inbound freight and contacting customers when the cargo arrives, as well as arranging for delivery. Arranging cargo movement to an international destination. Prepares international documentation that includes: commercial invoice, shipper’s export declaration, bill of lading, and other documents required by the carrier or country they are shipping to
Some air freight agents specialize in certain cargo such as clothing. All air freight agent services have their own specific rules and regulations for transporting cargo. One of these regulations is not permitting the import and export of illegal and prohibited goods. They will also have certain weight limitations. If a customer’s cargo surpasses the maximum allowed weight, there are usually added shipping costs
Most air freight agents will arrange for pick up cargo from the customer’s location and deliver the cargo right to the recipient’s door step. Sometimes there is an additional price associated with door-to-door delivery. The agent can also arrange for discounts for a large volume of cargo.
For shipments that are time-sensitive or destined to an isolated location, air freight shipping is the most effective and quickest way of shipping. Air freight agents are there to meet customer needs as well as ensuring airline transportation runs smoothly.
Air freight agents are able to ensure an efficient and easy transport of cargo by bringing all shipping processes together so that the cargo arrives at its destination on time and in the same condition as when it was shipped. Agents are knowledgeable about the shipping process and can answer such inquiries as: if the item can be picked up and delivered to the destination, shipping insurance prices, when the item will arrive, and the methods they use to track an item. When calling an agent, make sure you have the measurements and weight of the cargo.
Individuals and businesses that have used the services of an air freight agent have enjoyed the benefits of hassle-free freight shipment. Using a highly regarded air freight agent who understands the air transport procedure ensures a stress free, easy, and safe delivery of your air freight cargo.

Getting organized is right up there with losing weight on New Year’s resolution lists everywhere, but by February people inundated with clutter are likely to give up and go back to living in chaos. But, it doesn’t have to be that way if you start with five basic areas of living and just dig in.
1. Never leave things in you car. Every time you pull into the driveway or office, give your care a look around before you lock it. Carry any coffee cups or trash along with you for the nearest trash can. If you have library books to return later or dry cleaning to drop off, allocate one seat for these items rather than leave them strewn all over.
2. Prioritize your work space. If you have a desk with a computer, keep a pile to the left for your ‘to do today’ work and a pile somewhere else for things that you can chip away at later. Anything else that’s not something you need to reach for throughout the day needs to be put elsewhere.
3. Create some kitchen counter space. Really rethink that key area of your home and decide what you use often and what you don’t. Coffee pot? Toaster? Mixer? Tea kettle? Spice Rack? Do they all really need to be visible every day or can you tuck them away and reach for them as needed?
4. Make sure your laundry room does its job – laundry! Don’t let this area become the dumping ground. Move the laundry through and get it out of there. One pile for dirty clothes, one pile of folded clean clothes and keep it flowing.
5. A family room is for the whole family – reclaim it! With children come a lot of stuff. Toys and video games will quickly take over the one room that should be allocated for everyone if you’re not on top of it. Keep pillows and blankets to a minimum, or at least tuck them away when not in use. Make sure that there’s one spot for things like remote controls and reading materials. And don’t be afraid to ‘retrain’ your family into leaving the room exactly the way the found it each and every time.
Getting back on top of your ’space’ can be a daunting task, but you can do it! Just start with one area and don’t move on to another until you’re happy with what you see. Even if the process takes longer than you’d like it to, remind yourself that you have to start somewhere. Just start!

Closets always seem to run out of space. It can be very easy to turn a clean, organized closet into a messy, even chaotic one, especially when your clothes seem to be overflowing out the closet doors. Hangers don’t seem to do what they are supposed to. They are given a simple task of keeping clothes off the floor, and the often fail, taking up precious space in the process. There are solutions to this.
There are also other styles of hangers available to give you even more space savings.
*Tiered hangers – with tiered hangers, multiple items of clothing can be hung in the space of one normal hanger. They can hold up to 5 items, whether they are pants, skirts, or dresses, and allow you to use all of that unused space between your clothes and the floor. They can also help with organization, allowing you to hang entire outfits on one hanger, making it easier to get other members of your household ready for another day. Specially designed tiered hangers are also available for ties and belts so you can easily find them, rather than let them get lost in your sock drawer.
Tiered hangers allow multiple articles of clothing to be hung up in the space of a single hanger. They can hold up to 5 items at once and can come with clips so you can hold everything from shirts to skirts, and they take advantage of all the extra space that would normally be between the bottom of your clothes and the floor. There are also tiered hangers available for ties and belts, so they can be in the same place as your shirts and pants where they are more useful.
Cascading hooks are similar to tiered hangers in that they allow you to hang multiple items of clothing in a single space, but they let you do it with multiple hangers as well. This means that you can easily move hangers around your closet. Attaching these hooks to your hangers can help you organize clothes by style, colour, or anything else you can think of.
When considering the use of cascading hanger hooks, be aware that you need to use sturdy hooks and hangers, like the ones available in the Joy Mangano Huggable Hanger Sets collection or the weight of the clothing and hangers may not allow them to hold up. It is always best when trying to save space by using cascading hanger hooks, that you use slimmed hangers, and not traditional, fat, bulky ones. This can cause damage to your cascading hanger hooks due to the unneeded, extra weight.

Storage cabinets are the forgotten little brother in comparison to real closet storage. Although they seem to play second fiddle, when it comes to your organization scheme as a whole, storage cabinets serve a valuable role in keeping each room in your house organized.
Storage cabinets can take many different shapes and sizes. Some of the more imaginative options take old furniture pieces and give them new life as modern day storage places. When it comes to storage space, we mostly think of the built-in cabinet space in our houses, but don’t overlook the portable storage solutions.
One thing to remember if you are using storage cabinets for your belongings is that since they are typically have less room than closet storage, you tend to stack things up in cabinets, resulting in the possibility of musty items, and even worse, mold or mildew if moisture is able to reach your belongings. Make sure to use cabinet storage only for items that are rotated on a regular basis. You should generally follow the rule that, other than for keepsake items, if you are leaving items in storage for longer than one year, you should seriously consider whether you really need to store it, or whether it would be best to just give it away to charity and free up that extra space for more often used items.
If I had to use an example for cabinets that are generally under-utilized, I would have to say that bathroom storage is often the most in-efficiently used storage space in your house. This is because most bathrooms contain medicine cabinets that are packed full of old half used and expired items that you will probably never use again. If you were to go through your cabinets and get rid of anything that you don’t use on a daily or weekly basis (excluding up to date medicines), you would most likely find that you could free up over half the storage space you have available. Remember that freeing up inefficiently used space is like adding new storage space.
For reasons I could never understand some rooms were built without closets or storage cabinets. In the case of such rooms storage options will have to be added. The choice of added storage will depend on your tastes and budget. There are fabulous antique wardrobes and storage cabinets that can be picked up from boutique antique collections. Check your Yellow Pages for the contact information of antique dealers in your area. Equally functional and much less expensive options can be found at stores like Ikea.
Storage systems are not always the first things that come to mind when you think of a happy home, but don’t dismiss the peaceful and calming effect that a well-organized non-hectic home can effect. Remember, an organized house is a happy house, and if you lack closet storage, then cabinet storage may be just the thing to end your storage dilemmas.

How big of a hassle is it every time you go to look for something and just can’t seem to locate anything? Does it seem like you are perpetually unorganized, and your closets need a makeover? But you can’t justify a closet makeover when your bedroom and bathrooms are still waiting for their 10 year renovation? Well I’m here to help, with a whole list of cheap closet organizer tips and ideas.
There are very cheap and easy ways to organize any closet and every closet needs some organizational help. One of the best “cheap” ways to organize a closet is to buy some snap together plastic shelves and some clear Rubbermaid bins. Make sure the bins are the proper size for your shelves. Stick a 3×5 sticker on the end of each bin and make a clear list of the contents.
The closet storage system described above can be made even cheaper with a little ingenuity. Instead of buying plastic stacking shelves look around your basement or neighborhood for bricks and pieces of 4 foot board. Wash whatever you find thoroughly and carefully. Visit your local wine store and ask for some boxes. Any type of box will do but I find liquor boxes or wine boxes to be the sturdiest and they are easy to find. Write down the contents of each bin on a piece of paper and tape the list to the end of the bin.
Another really simple and cost effective organizer solution is to use hooks for as many items as can easily be hung. You can find double hooks, and even clothes rack style hooks very inexpensively. All sorts of things that you typically find in closets can be hung up, and if you have a bunch of related things that just seem to go all over the place, consider finding a cloth shopping bag, or mesh bag to collect related items and get them out of the way by hanging them up.
The cheapest way to organize a closet is a method that costs nothing at all. The best closet organization tends to be homogenized. Homogenized means uniformity. This means the closet contents should be more or less the same. Furthermore, the contents should be accessed at approximately the same rate. A jacket that is worn every day should not be stored with roller blades that are never used. If you don’t use something sell it. If you use an item a few times per year, then store it in a closet with other items used at the same rate.
Decent closet storage ideas can be very inexpensive. You can start with some cheaper ideas and then maybe add some pricey organizational tools when you have more money. There really are some free ways to organize your closets. With some ingenuity, you can come up with a few cheap closet storage ideas.
