I was part of a medical mission in a rural area as a nurse. Since I was not yet employed, I might as well be part of a mission that can put my field of endeavor to use and, most important of all, be of help to others.
The area was full of poor people and they expressed their gratitude for our presence even if it was short-lived. They badly needed the medical services that we offered to them.
In an area that is depressed, crime is rampant. I must prepare myself for personal defense.
With stunguns as my self-defense devices, I can be secure. I had with me a Pretender 4.5 million volt Cell Phone stun gun all the time that I was on the mission.
The reason why I like stunguns as protective gadgets is that I do not have to take an aim to thwart an assailant. The Pretender 4.5 million volt Cell Phone Stun Gun looks like a real cell phone but it does not work like one. No one would think that this communication device is actually a powerful stun gun with 4.5 million volts. It also features a 12 LED flashlight that is helpful when I need illumination.
I do not have to fear accidentally triggering stunguns when I do not mean to since they are usually equipped with a protective switch. With only three CR2 batteries, I can make this Pretender stun gun work.
At the medical mission area, people were flocking for medical treatment while another group of male individuals were trying to mess up the activity.
When I went to talk to them about not disturbing the volunteers and messing up our system, they became angry with my request. As a man pushed me around, I pulled my stun gun and forcefully hit him with it. Once again, stunguns proved that they can be reliable in this kind of situation.

Unruly teenagers in the streets mugged my friend the other day. He happened to be walking after eating from a fast food counter when they came from behind him and attempted to snatch his laptop.
As hard as he tried to defend himself, they had him beat in numbers. His anger was still evident when he told me this. If the situation in our streets would not change, then I told him: “You better learn expert strategies for protecting yourself.”
If he goes to a martial arts school, he said, it will take him months to learn. I replied that there is a faster way by searching the internet for instructional materials. This was how we were introduced to fighting DVDs.
Self defense is taught by these fighting DVDs at your own pace, in your own home. In a very easy way, you will learn expert strategies for protecting yourself. That aroused the interest of my friend and our internet query was focused on that direction.
The first item that we saw online was the Fast and Furious Street Smarts DVD by Jacov Bressler. What is taught by Jacov in this DVD is the “speed-learning” shortcut hand-to-hand tactics for cops and soldiers who do not have enough time to practice. You will learn expert strategies for protecting yourself in this DVD.
Paul Vunak’s Street Safe DVD is also included in these street fighting DVDs that we saw. Easily learned are these techniques of Paul. Demonstrated here are 8 basic tools of self defense that can get you out of 95% of all street fights.
The Combat JKD DVD by Chris Clugston was also considered. An experienced bouncer, and street fighter, Chris’ techniques are quick and easy to learn. There is no need for a partner to practice it.
We also deliberated on the Fight To Win DVD by Jim West. With this DVD, you will learn expert strategies for protecting yourself because the movement patterns, pressure points, floor moves and choke holds are taught here by Jim.

Chicago is the city where I grew up. Although I am of Chinese ancestry, I was born and raised here. It is special to me but I would always advise people to take extra care when walking alone in the streets.
I can say that this town is not the safest, being familiar with it my entire life. My profession in the past three years has been as a merchandiser for a clothing store.
Until I got to college, I was not allowed me to go around by means of public transport. Once I began working, I decided to move out and learn how to be independent. I rented an apartment not far from my workplace.
Driving my own vehicle reduces the risk of getting mugged. However, it is no guarantee. For added security, I carry a pepper spray defense key chain with me.
One time, I was loading some groceries to my car when two men mugged me. I was lucky that I had my pepper spray defense key chain stashed readily with my keys. Before they could do something nasty to me, I sprayed it onto both of them.
I searched the web high and low before I found the perfect pepper spray defense key chain for my needs. I zeroed in on different Wildfire 18% Pepper Spray products because each is measured at 3 million Scoville heat units that will stop any mugger from attacking.
Between the 1.5 oz Wildfire 18% Pepper Spray and the 1/2 oz Wildfire 18% Pepper Spray, I opted for the previous one that was more difficult to lose. I am not exactly what you would call organized and it is not beyond me to forget things.
As a pepper spray defense key chain, the 1.5 oz model is perfect for me since I just have to attach it to my bag or car keys. The importance of keeping such a gadget was something that I never realized until that day that I got mugged myself.

One night, after her review classes, she was walking in a dark alley on her way home. She was prepared for what she would do in such situations. That was why she was not afraid.
While in the alley, she noticed two men slowly trying to catch up with her. When they were about 10 feet away, she courageously faced them and pointed her Taser C2 at them.
The two were immediately frightened, especially when the laser light of the Taser C2 fell on the chest of one of them. They must be acquainted with Taser devices. Afraid of what might happen, they quickly ran away.
As she related her story, she made it clear that Taser devices are really effective. For our protection, she suggested for us to look for Tasers for sale. The best source of information, she said, is the internet.
As we were searching the internet for Tasers for sale, we saw the Taser C2. Like all Taser devices, the knock-down power of the Taser C2 is incredible. Two wires carrying 50,000 volts are propelled from this unit.
The wires have two probes at each end which can reach up to 15 feet and penetrate up to 2 inches of clothing. They conduct energy to affect and paralyze temporarily the sensory and motor functions of the nervous system of the attacker.
As we went on looking for other Tasers for sale, we saw the Taser M26C. This model is an improved pistol-like weapon which delivers 5-second blasts of electrical energy to incapacitate the assailant. The unit comes with 4 cartridges, an instructional DVD, a practice target and a case for protection.
As we continued searching for Tasers for sale, we came across the Taser X26C. Law enforcement professionals are what this gadget is designed for. This pistol-like device can project 10 to 30 second blasts of electrical signal. Its remaining power level can be monitored by a numeric display.

A job at a movie house awaited me in Old Town. An old girlfriend hooked me up with an apartment in Colorado Blvd. but brought December to mind. It was menacingly near and we both grasped that the Rose Bowl crowd was soon to get hairy.
Lara advised me to look into Where to find pepper spray store in Pasadena prior to New Year’s Eve. Because more job opportunities were open for me, I moved to this city from downtown Los Angeles.
We arranged to go around in the course of a weekend. I reckoned that she might have an idea where to find pepper spray store in Pasadena. I really did think to steel myself for late nights on the job.
The Mace Pepper Gun that I discovered during our search appealed to me more than any other defense sprays. It came naturally to me to hold its gun-type container with ease, so I would not bobble it when confronted by an assaulter.
A store clerk pointed out that blue/black, pink, blue and silver are the color options for the Mace Pepper Gun. However, not all were in stock at the time. Lara insisted that we move to another street where to find pepper spray store in Pasadena.
With the benefit of a new delivery system for foiling an assault, the Mace Pepper Gun makes use of Bag-in-a-Can technology. Good for 25 feet, it holds 28 grams of a potent OC pepper mixture.
A more up-to-speed storekeeper came to our rescue when we understood where to find pepper spray store in Pasadena. A LED light actuated by the trigger, she informed, is for pointing the Mace Pepper Gun to the opponent markedly.
Each item, we were additionally told, includes a pepper gun dispenser, one 28 gram OC cartridge that contains up to 7 25-foot blasts, one water test cartridge and batteries for powering the LED light.

When picking out a chair it is important to find the most comfortable. If the only chair that you feel you can sit in costs above three hundred dollars then spare no expense. When it comes to office furniture, comfort is what is going to count. Because you are going to using this furniture five days out of the week. You may see your office chair more than you see your own family. Spend the money so that comfort is never affected.
With so many injuries that are possible from the work place it is important to remember how many hours are spent there. If everyday you are in an uncomfortable position because your chair is wrong for you, then that may be the beginning of a back problem for you. If your chair forces you to be in odd angles then that is not the chair for you. You want a chair that is just right.
Select a chair that gives you the proper height for your legs to sit comfortably. Also make sure that your neck is properly supported. If you can afford it, then you might want to consider a chair that has a built in massager. If that is too extravagant then there are also massagers that can be purchased separately.
Materials should also be a concern when selecting a chair. Most higher end chairs are made of real leather or a similar feeling material. If this is not for you then consider going with a cloth type chair. You can try to match the chair to the office but more often it can be better to go for comfort than it is to go with a selection made to match the decor.
Ergonomic might also be a word to consider when looking for a new office chair. These chairs will offer a lot more controls and options to fit your comfort needs. They are able to produce more angles and tilts as well as height changes. There are some that offer more neck support for those that have neck problems. Because many injuries are caused by improper sitting, a good idea is to look into these kind of chairs.
There are other kinds of ergonomic office equipment that could help out in the prevention of stress injuries. Keyboards and mice come in ergonomic styles also. These can be a good way to prevent repetitive stress injuries if you spend a lot of time at the computer.
Always consult with a doctor before purchasing ergonomic equipment. Sometimes what might feel like a repetitive stress injury could be something else. There is no need to self diagnose these kinds of problems.
Always go for comfort over price. When selecting office furniture you have to keep in mind that you are spending a lot of time in this chair or at that desk. You have to be comfortable or you will have your entire workday ruined. This will eventually start overflowing to your family life as well.
Your office desk is one of the most important pieces of furniture in your office. The office desk must suit you in size and style as well as price.
