Absolutely and purely fantastic. But wait a second. Wouldn’t the sound from my DVD player bother all the people around me?

That’s when I was in for another shock. Most of these DVD players had their own headphone jack, so you could totally listen in private. Nobody around you would even know what you were watching. They wouldn’t be bothered or anything. Pure genius. And you would be able to hear the sound really clearly above all that music they play at Starbucks. Just as I was dreaming of my future, I thought of another problem. Surely these DVD players must be several hundred, or even a thousand dollars.

That’s when I received the biggest shock of the day. Some of these were less than a hundred dollars! Truly amazing technology at an affordable price. I have that much change in my couch at home! As lady luck would have it, this particular store accepted all major credit cards. I grabbed the best one they had and sprinted to the cashier before I changed my mind.
