Sanyo massage chairs boast some of the most advanced electronic features to compliment their massage therapy. One of their higher end models is the DR 6700. This model is the subject of this review. We will analyze the DR6700K and point out its relevant features. We evaluate massage chairs in five key areas where up to 20 points can be earned in each area. Here is our evaluation of the HEC-DR6700K Sanyo massage chair.
Warranty & Customer Service: You want to make sure that you get sufficient warranty protection with your massage chair. These are complex machines and you want to be protected down the road. So what type of warranty do you get with the DR6700K? This recliner comes with 3 years on the roller mechanism. You also get 1 year of parts and also 1 year of labor. In home technician repair service is also provided for the first year free of charge. This is a pretty good warranty of this level of massage chair. Sanyo has now established a national call center for warranty issue and provides good service. We rate the warranty and customer service an 18.
Comfort & Ergonomics: One of the key elements in design today is the discipline of ergonomics. Ergonomics is the study of how the human body moves. Sanyo has built a fairly well designed chair from an ergonomic standpoint. All is within easy reach. Additionally, the DR6700 is form fitting to the body. The back pad and seat are comfortable to sit in when the chair is not running. Sanyo has done a pretty solid job and we give it an 18.
Ease of Use: We really like that massage chair manufacturers are adding features like there is no tomorrow. The counter-weight to this is ease of use. If a device is overly complicated, then it just won’t get used, no matter how great the feature. The Sanyo comes with two remotes. The chair has a main remote and a sub remote. The sub remote must be held for it to perform the stiffness detection. It is an interesting feature, but not at the expense of having a second remote. We give the DR6700 a 17.
Key Features: There are two electronic features integrated into the DR-6700 that are both worth pointing out. These are the physical shape sensor and the stiffness detector. The physical shape sensor memorizes the position of your body. If you move in the massage chair, then the sensor detect such movement. It then adjusts the massage program to your new position. The stiffness detector is based on Sanyo’s lie detector technology. It works by measuring your pulse rate and your level of perspiration. From there correlations have been made to areas of your body originating this increased stress and the chair will then target those areas. We rate these interesting features an 18.
Massage Therapy: The DR 6700 has 4 automatic one-touch massage programs. The programs are as follows: Stiffness, Recovery, Fine and Relax. There are also manual massage techniques which include the following: Grip, Shiatsu, Kneading, Tapping and Combo. Each of these techniques is specialized with a particular movement to loosen or revitalize tight and sore muscles. In manual mode, just select the intensity of the massage to be more or less invigorating or select the width of the rollers to cover the areas of your back that you need attention. Target specific areas by selecting the region which includes: neck and shoulders, lower back, lower body and quick course. You have a lot of good options to choose from with the DR-6700. Our rating of the massage therapy is 19
How did the HEC DR6700K do in our review? We scored this massage chair recliner a 90/100 points. Overall, the DR6700 is a very solid chair. It is comfortable and well designed. You get some interesting advanced electronic features with the physical shape sensor and the stiffness detector. We are somewhat disappointed with the short warranty coverage for parts and labor at 1 year. The massage therapy is very effective and the Grip massage is a nice soothing and relieving manual massage. If you haven’t tried the DR6700K, you should compare it with Sanyo’s top of the line model. The DR-6700 massage chair is one you should look at further in the luxury massage recliners.

First, never look evil directly in the eyes, at least, not when she is looking back at you. Let’s face it, we all want to know what our wives will look and act like fifty some odd years down the track and track is a good word here because it looks like that’s where your mother in law’s face was when the ugly train hit it at full speed. We men have all been told that if you want to see what your wife will be like, look at her mother. Fortunately, for us, life-sucking evil often skips a generation. It just cannot be possible that much evil could exist in such close proximity for long. You know this when your mother in law looks at you and you feel your knees start to buckle. A wave of sudden diarrhea twists your stomach into a knot and the sweat breaks out on your forehead until you are forced to look away. That is okay though, the battle may be lost, but the lesson was not wasted on you. Never look evil directly in the eyes.
It is said that wedding ceremonies started with the bride and her mother on one side, and the groom and his quivering father on the other but so many grooms were devoured before the “I do’s” that they brought in the best man and some groomsmen to help out. This move was countered by the mother in law with her own gang of thugs, the maid of honor, and the bridesmaids. And so began the origins of the bribes to get them to stand up and fight, which we now call the bridesmaid gifts and the maid of honor gifts, again countered by the grooms team.
A wedding is often a mission on the part of the groom to steal the bride away from her mother and this sometimes calls for covert operations. One such act of attrition that is necessary at almost every wedding is the stealing of and hiding the mother in laws broomstick. Taking away her mode of transportation greatly reduces the groom’s need for air support. The total focus can now be placed on alter operations without having to worry about the mother in law buzzing around the chapel ceiling dropping stink bombs on the grooms party.
The mother in law is not powerless, however and will have some undercover work of her own. With the dark forces on her side comes the ability to shape shift, although it does diminish her strength. Many a war has been won by the groom because the mother in law, fresh from shape shifting into a beautiful temptress at the groom’s bachelor party, is too weak to put up a sufficient fight on the wedding day. Even operating at low strength, the mother in law is a formidable foe, casting her cold feet spells and causing things to go wrong at the wedding. At my wedding, the dreaded mother in law hexed the preacher into saying her name instead of my wife’s during the ceremony, almost stealing the legality of the ritual. They are devilishly sneaky and should not be underestimated.
There is one weapon that the groom yields, however, that shifts the balance of power in his favor if he is lucky enough to have it. The only force that the evil mother in law cannot defeat in an outright face-to-face battle is true love. As long as the bride and the groom possess true love, they will conquer all.

When I received my first wedding invitation, it was pretty much what I thought it would be, a nice piece of paper with an invitation to a wedding. No big surprises here but the very next year, I received another that was completely different and unique from the first. This one was big and bulky and contained several items including a map. Invitations require more thought than what kind of wedding favors or unique wedding favors you provide. What kind of invitations will you send out? Here are some of your options.
The Seal and Send Invitation Seal and send invitations are becoming more popular as people strive to cut back on paper. These are the kind that does not need an envelope as they are printed on one side, and then they fold up and seal themselves. They are now ready for mailing. Seal and send wedding invitations are a great way to go if you want to save some money on an informal or small affair with a short guest list.
Response Cards If you send out traditional invitations contained within an envelope, you can send other types of invitations, messages, and maps with them. The response card is valuable to you in that it allows you to plan for your seating and food catering needs. With this card, you are asking your invitees to respond so that you will know approximately how many guests will attend and can service their needs with space, food, gifts, and entertainment. This is one of the most important parts of the invitation and should be pleasing to the eye to ensure that it is given proper attention by the receiver.
Maps It is desirable that you send a map with your invitations to help those who may be unfamiliar with your area or the location of your wedding and/or reception. This map should be big enough to include the airport or train stations clearly marked and specific instructions on street by street travel from those locations. If you can, it is polite and kind to send discount vouchers or coupons for such services as pre-negotiated hotels and car rentals.
The Announcement Card An announcement card is a nice way of letting those who are not invited to the wedding that you have wed. Let’s face it, sometimes you just cannot invite everyone that you know to the wedding, or you simply would not have room or food for them. This does not mean that you do not care for them or that you do not want to communicate with them. Use this card after your wedding and let them know that you miss them and provide a contact number or return address.
The Reception Insert This card is for those who would not come to the wedding but you would love to have them at the reception. Many times, a wedding ceremony will seat less people than you could seat at the reception. You will also have friends and relatives who would prefer not to attend the wedding but would love to wish you well or present you with a gift at the reception. These can be made to match the invitation and other inserts within the same mailing. These are just a few of the many types of invitation inserts you can use but they do represent the basics of what most people will send.

Panasonic is introducing two new lines. They are mid level line is called their urban collection. This features new contemporary designs for the urban lifestyle. The other line is the Real Pro Ultra massage recliners. The Real Pro Ultra has a long list of features and soothing massage programs. Panasonic offers a full range of massage recliners in the mid-and high-end ranges.
The new urban collection is a much needed upgrade from previous Panasonic designs. These new contemporary styled massage recliners are much better looking than ever before. They have added a few designer touches and have made the leg rest in two versions. The leg rest can be built onto the chair or can be separate with a leg ottoman.
The model that comes with the separate leg ottoman is the Panasonic EP 1082. The leg ottoman comes equipped with a system of eight airbags. You get quite a variety of massage therapies included in the EP 1082. There is also a new massage technique integrated into this recliner called the chiropractic style massage. This is to help with more thorough muscle relaxation.
Another model in the new Urban Collection is the EP-1285. This model is similar to the EP 1082, with the exception of the attached leg rest. This massage chair has the built-in leg ottoman. The number of airbags and the EP 1285 is 14. This provides better coverage for compression massage for your legs.
The new urban collection by Panasonic includes some of their more effective technology. They include their floating massage head that provides a realistic feeling of a hand massage. They also provide technology to identify your individual acupoints for the acupressure massage.
Panasonic has designed a separate leg ottoman for the EP 1082. This gives you the versatility to use it for massage or not. The simple design incorporates a flip mechanism to obtain a massage. The eight airbags provide for a kneading of the calf and shin muscles.
The high end line for Panasonic is the Real Pro Ultra. The Real Pro Ultra line is the successor to the real Pro elite line. This line starts with the model EP 30003. This model has all the main features of the ones above it. As you progress up the line to the EP 30007, slight changes are made to the massage chair.
The Real Pro Ultra line starts with model EP 30003. This massage chair recliner has the quad style roller mechanism included. Panasonic has designed this roller system to compensate for the curve of the spine. It is also able to perform a grasping motion for relieving sore muscles.
The Real Pro Ultra line comes with three the body scan technology. The roller mechanism will scan up and down your back. It then creates a three-dimensional virtual map of your back. It locates the top of your shoulders and will adjust the program to follow the curve of your spine. This provides a much more tailored massage.
As you move up in the Real Pro Ultra massage chair line to the EP 30004, it now includes upper body stretching and an arm massage. The armrests contained a top which can be opened. The arm can be inserted inside in the air compression system activated. This provides for soothing relief of tired wrists and arms. There is also an upper body stretching system utilizing the arm airbags.
The Real Pro Ultra line by Panasonic also includes three more models. The EP 30005 does not have the shoulder and hip airbags. However it does have a more penetrating massage. This massage is called ultra deep. The remaining two models are the EP 30006 and the EP 30007. Both of these models have identical feature sets. The only difference is the EP 30007 is fabricated in Japan and is supposedly of higher quality. This is the new Real Pro Ultra line from Panasonic massage chairs.
