What other industry does the government need to target because they make a profit? Food producers?

Invisible asked:

Should the government get into the food producing business so they can compete against Kraft & General Mills?

Shouldn’t Americans have more choices and shouldn’t it be the governments responsibility to provide competition to private industries so they will make less profits?

We cant live without food right? When will Obama get the US government into the food business?

Honey, the government is in bed with food producers. We subsidize corn and soy to a ridiculous degree and pay the lowest amount for our food in regard to percentage of salary in the world.

The USDA and FDA is staffed with advisors from the major food conglomerates.

    Do some research.

The executives at Kraft all have a $7 million house and they have to pay $100,000 a year on property taxes. Working class Bob has to pay for that house. So yes, I think so.
