I own a bunch of individual public company stocks. I like to keep track of the news about these companies by monitoring their press releases. This helps me keep better track of things during these choppy times. The quicker you get breaking information about your stocks the better.

EBay is one more website that I could not function without. EBay is ideal for finding anything that you cant find locally. There are times when you need to buy something out of the ordinary yet you have no idea where you could find such a thing. That is when EBay comes in really handy.

I maintain a separate folder of website links that helps me think up gift ideas for friends I need to shop for on a regular basis. It is much easier to find something decent for grandpa when you have a few links to get you started. Then when you are just browsing the net and come across the perfect idea, you can store it for when the time comes.

What about what is certainly one of the most frequented sites on the internet? Amazon.com is one of my most loved sites. I buy all kinds of things on there from computer software to books. I really like the fact that they sell used books on there. I would rather buy my books as cheaply as possible. It is great that they give you both the new and used option.

Everybody should have at least one local news site in their favorites. It is easy to see how the convenience of the internet is replacing the antiquated newspaper. I definitely prefer getting my news right when I want to. It is better than waiting for some paperboy to deliver it. The paperboy is becoming a thing of the past just like the milkmen of yesteryear.
