Tiffany and Co. acquires Lambertson Truex
New York–Tiffany and Co. has acquired accessories brand Lambertson Truex, a company known for its fine Handbags and small leather goods, the luxury jewelry retailer has announced.Richard Lambertson and John Truex joined Tiffany effective May 1, and together the team will explore the development of a collection of Handbags and leather accessories to complement the current assortment available at Tiffany & Co.Tiffany & Co. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael Kowalski said in a statement. “It is not often that talent of this caliber becomes available, creating a unique opportunity for Tiffany to broaden our accessories offerings.”Tiffany & Co. currently carries are passport covers, business card holders, luggage tags, jewelry rolls and travel cases.
